A dust collector is only as good as it s filter and as filters fill up with dust it reduces airflow and efficiency.

Zero complaints for this product it s not pretty but beats paying 500 plus for a pretty one. Instead of using an internal baffle to knock down heavy chips this pre separator uses a combination of pvc pipe and fittings and a round trash can to create sort of a mini cyclone. One way to reduce this is to create a chip separating baffle which collects most of the debris in a trash can before it reaches the filter.
